Safety is everyone's responsibility! This requires employees to manage safe work practices on their worksite at Southern Sierra.
The safety program requires consistent commitment from all levels of management and employees. The health and safety of employees is our highest value; we view our employees as our most important asset. We partner with our clients to ensure all worksites are safe and healthful for our employees and are able to manage the worksite in alignment with their values.
Southern Sierra informal Behavior Based Safety program expectation is for employees to identify at-risk behaviors in the workplace. The observation is a proactive approach to safety by eliminating or reducing the severity of the incident before it occurs. This approach helps to be pro-active before an incident occurs rather than reactive after the incident.
